Since my first Stator tube breakdown I have had two more breakdowns. All of these breakdowns have occurred in the rear stator tubes. The second was in the other speaker and the third was close to the location of the first breakdown. When this one happened the original hole in the Mylar grew even larger with the arc-ing. Yesterday the repair tape that Roger sent arrived so I set about working out a method of getting the large patch onto the Mylar.
This is how I did it. I hope the method will be of use to someone in the future.
Even with all this bother the speakers are still great.
