I don't think that the amount of radiating area is reduced I believe it has to do with the curvature of the speaker. The Majestic is in the 45 degree model actually wider than the U-1 or the M-1/A-1 series. In speaking with SL the buzz is high on this configuration. Pictures to come as soon as I have a chance...
