Engineers with test instruments are like the drunk looking for his house key under a street lamp in the old British comedy routine: after the Bobby helps him search for a while, the Bobby asks him where he dropped the key. "Over there," says the drunk, gesturing towards the darkness down the street. "Then why are we looking for it here?" asks the Bobby.

"Because the light's better!"

I get to be snotty about engineers and the "reality is what you measure" philosophy because I am an engineer. Anyone listened to Revel speakers lately?
