The bias setting you have given is very high for the stator insulation type I suspect you have. I would have expected a bias setting between 12.00 and 2.00 o’clock assuming the speakers to be functioning properly. It would be a good idea to listen carefully to the good speaker to ensure that its not making any light ticking noises, this would indicate that the bias is set too high. If the good speaker is ticking, even very slightly, back off the bias until the ticking stops.

I think the bad speaker that has louder crackle noises from one location on the panel has a stator insulation breakdown. I don’t think dust or spider webs are an issue here because your speakers are too new to have accumulated any significant quantity of dust etc.

DIY repairs are possible and the factory can help with instructions on this but as your speakers are still under warrantee the wisest course of action is to get your dealer to sort the problem out promptly before the warrantee expires. If you leave this to limp on I fear you will end up with a progressive insulation breakdown problem leading to expensive shipping costs and a hefty repair bill that you will have to bear.
