With just a bit over 24 hours' warmup time on a pair of these 400 watt monoblocks driving my U-1s, the results are promising. They are quiet in the extreme, allowing subtle ambience cues to come through. Tonality and timbre are excellent, with no characteristic solid state edge at all. Focus has improved during the past few hours, allowing a wide choice of listening positions while hearing a very stable image. I'll have a much better idea where these are going in the next 24 to 48 hours, but thus far they may be the solid state amp to beat with Sound Labs, and if things continue to bloom as they have...
The amps were already broken in by the owner, and the units are stock with the exception of some aftermarket power cords (TG Audio SLVR). I'll have them for a few more days.
