I recently purchased a pair of re done A1's with new mylar and one of the speakers has been crackling even with the bias completely turned off. I was told by Sound Labs that it may go away in a couple of days as the mylar is new. I was told this crackling will not damage the speakers, and to keep them plugged in. I also was told I might need to add a resistor if the crackling doesn't stop. I am new to the world of ESL. Why would this crackling not hurt the membrane where crackling with the bias turned up injure the membrane? Concerned about injuring my new investment. Tom
