My stator tubes are not made from Nylon, they are made from Polyethylene.
I believe that the reason my panels keep breaking down is that the stator tubes have been glued to the ribs at every single point of contact. In places around the ribs and stator tubes there is a white residue. I suspected that a primer was used prior to gluing the stator tubes. This is necessary when bonding Polyolefins to enhance the adhesion. I suspected that this could also be contributing to the stator tube breakdowns, after all, it must be doing something to the surface to enhance the adhesion. Sound Lab says that no surfacants were used, well if that was the case I wonder what the white residue is then. In larger areas on the ribs I can see where it has run down and dried leaving the white residue.
Anyway this method of construction must have been suspect for Soundlab to have immediately switched over to a notched rib method of locating the stator tubes.
