if Sound Lab has gone back to notching the horizontal ribs after your complaint, then your panels must be one of those unproven prototypes that should not have left the factory.

Since you are on your second set of panels since 1994, it can not be said that you were inexperience, and that you had abused these new panels with your non-adherence to its proper operating instruction. It is pretty obvious that the heating gun incident can not be held against you, as the instructions were given to you by Sound Lab and that you have successfully performed the process.

Like I have said in my earlier post. When the dust settles at Sound Lab, Dr. West would have a better perspective on the big picture and do the right thing.
