Do your speakers have the toroidal treble transformer? If not, they could benefit from same. Also, take a look at the caps and resistors that are used in the x-over network; upgrades of those parts could help as well. (I don't know whether the A6 is a true 2-way design, with separate bass and treble radiating panels or whether it is a later full-range design that uses separate bass and treble audio transformers only, but in either case these two elements contribute to sonic qualities.) More expensive stuff would include upgrading the mylar, copper diffusion rings, etc.
