I used the Transcendent monoblocs with a pair of A-2 for a couple of years with excellent results. Sufficient power, and very good sound. When I replaced the A-2 with M-2, power from the Transcendents was no sufficient. I now use Wolcotts. I do not know the relative efficiency of the A-2 and the Pristines.
