Thanks for the kind words Lew. My intention was to balance some of the comments about quality of newer Soundlabs. The pair I have now is delivering spectacular sound and the bias point is WELL defined. By that, I mean that turning it to the maximum and backing off slightly gives great volume and no crackling.

I mention this in particular as an earlier pair of cores had problems with the insulation. Whatever Roger changed has everything under control and I wanted to share the excitement of my restored confidence.
