That's precisely what I meant when I said I was "glad to hear that you are pleased". It helps everyone else to know not to panic. My M1s are also behaving well, albeit with the older type insulation material. Interestingly, now that we are having some damp spring weather in Maryland, I am feeling the need to turn up the bias voltage a tad, in order to get to max voltage that does not induce crackling.
