I am using the HI switch position and I have the dial set at 10 o’clock. This setting was one that was recommended to me. I have been very busy lately but as I was so happy with the sound I have not felt the need to experiment. I dare say I will get the urge to make adjustments at some time.
Another thing I find so good about the Soundlab/Wolcott combination is the even handedness of the presentation. All types of music sound really good now. With previous combinations of equipment (pre MA1 amps) more modern music may have been right but the palpability of classical music was simply not there. Now I can enjoy all of my music.
Mind you, a little bit more image focus would be welcome, I will have to work harder on my room and the speaker placement.
