Tube rolling can be beneficial, although the cost can be substantial. A friend sold a pair of Wolcotts not too many months ago with a collection of select NOS tubes that must have cost him about $3000. Another friend may be replacing his ARC D250 in which he's using black plate Tungsol 6550's, which are rather dear. My point is they both found the NOS tubes to add to their enjoyment, at a cost.
