For a room of that size, I would recommend you consider purchasing M1s instead of M2s. M1s will be slightly more efficient in your listening space and give you slightly better sound stage, bass, etc. Once you've got the speakers, then you are the one who can best decide whether your MA MkIIs are giving sufficient power to make you happy. If not, then the logical choice is between the AS MA2s vs Wolcotts. There is no "wrong" answer with any of these amplifiers. If you can make it to Duke's place, you can audition the alternatives for yourself.
