Well, it depends on how much you want to do yourself and how far you want to take them.
The sandcast resistors are junk and Mills wirewounds represent a huge upgrade to my ears. The Solens aren't exactly prize winners IMO and I have found nothing better than the Audio Consulting NOS paper and oils (more transparent than Jensens). The inductors are prime target for upgrade too. I got a pair of custom wound Audio Consulting air cores (about 15 lbs each) that killed the Goertz foils and Madisound Sledgehammers I compared them to. The inductors are too big to fit in the interface box though so you will need to fabricate something or order them in boxes form the US distributor (reference audio mods). Do the above and assuming you replace the internal wiring with something that isn't too bright you can then eliminate the brilliance pot. This alone will improve dynamic contrasts from the midband on up by a subjective 30 to 50% and significantly improve transparency.
At least that's what I've found so far...
