I just found I have burnt input sandcast resistors also. Clearly in one speaker and I suspect the other one also. I am using VTL tube amps, so they would have to fail badly to have DC current flowing at the output. Did you understand what caused the overload in your case? After replacing the resistors, did the speakers come back to normal?
